HI! a little about me <3

my love for photography dates way back to the days of bringing disposable cameras to my middle school dances (those photos don’t leave the vault though). I was always the friend with the camera in hand documenting our nights out, road trips, etc. the act of being able to capture a moment and be able to relive that every time you pull that photo back up is a feeling and rush i’ve been chasing since i picked up a camera. in 2020 when the world shut down, i stumbled on an old film point and shoot camera at my local thrift store for $3 and it changed my life (dramatic I know!). I immediately fell in love with film photography and the way it made me slow down and take photos with intention and purpose. film has a nostalgic magic to it that no digital camera or preset can ever truly encapsulate. The adrenalin rush you get when the scans come back is a feeling i’ll never get sick of! I love to approach taking photos with a documentary, storytelling style. Forget the contrived poses, i’m all about the in between and being the fly on the wall!
